Dashcoin, formerly known as Darkcoin, is mined using the X11 algorithm.  It is most commonly CPU mined or GPU mined but Darkcoin ASICs are in development.

There are numerous Darkcoin mining pools (Dashcoin mining pools).  Some use fees and some are no fee mining pools.

Dashcoin can also be obtained through Dashcoin Exchanges.  Because Dashcoin used to be known as Darkcoin, sometimes Darkcoin (Dashcoin) can be obtained through Darkcoin Exchanges.  You can also buy Dashcoin or buy Darkcoin online.

Dashcoin mining on Windows, Linux, and OSX is possible.  Most commonly, Windows Dashcoin mining is called Darkcoin mining because of the naming history.  Windows X11 Dashcoin mining  (Darkcoin mining) uses software such as sgminer and ccminer.  Linux Dashcoin mining also uses ccminer and sgminer as well as others.  It is also possible to mine Dashcoin (mine Darkcoin) on OSX using ccminer.  You can also mine Dashcoin (mine Darkcoin) using cudaminer.  You will need the CUDA toolkit and NVIDIA drivers.

It is also possible to mine Dashcoin (mine Darkcoin) using AMD video cards using sgminer.  Check out prebuilt binaries and source code.
